Are you an experienced Social Worker with a passion for supporting children with disabilities and their families? We are recruiting for an exciting locum opportunity within a well-established Children with Disabilities Team in the London Borough of Newham. The Role:

You will be working with children and young people with disabilities, undertaking statutory assessments, managing a varied caseload, completing Child in Need and Child Protection work where required, and working closely with families and multi-agency partners to deliver positive outcomes.

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
  • Previous experience within a Children with Disabilities or Children's Services team
  • Strong assessment and safeguarding experience
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload effectively
