The Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub in Devon is recruiting a highly motivated and talented Social Worker with experience in Children's Services to join their team in Exeter. As a temporary member of staff, you will be considered an integral part of this team. Exeter is a picturesque city in Devon.

37 hours a week, 3 month+ contracts on a rate of £35ph. The team operates a county wide multi-agency approach, operating effectively and efficiently to deliver the best possible outcomes for children, young people and families.

You will be required to act quickly, in a coordinated and consistent way. Working well under pressure and to tight deadlines will be an expectation. You will have the ability to write succinct evidence-based reports and present social care information and issues that can impact on the risk or needs assessment of the child/young person. This may involve disclosing proportionate and relevant information related to the parents/carers or siblings.

Although at times this role can be highly demanding, it is an office-based role with minimal travel. This is a fantastic opportunity, especially for somebody who would like to step away from a case holding team and community visits.
