Professional knowledge:
- Recognised qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
- Post qualification at Diploma level in CBT.
- Hold registration and accreditation with the BABCP and with the NMC or HCPC.
Experience:
- Psychological Assessment.
- Psychological Formulation.
- Using CBT for multiple mental illnesses: anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, drug/alcohol abuse, somatic problems, sexual or physical abuse, marital problems, and addictions.
- Ideally experience working in a Community Mental Health Team.
