Role: Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer
Location: West Yorkshire
Type: Temporary – Part Time
Rate: 35 – 45 per hour
Eden Brown are seeking a motivated Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer for a Further Education College in West Yorkshire. This is a part time role to start on 22nd September for 1 month initially, 4 days per week, Monday – Thursday delivering Carpentry & Joinery Level 1.
Responsibilities
- Teach Carpentry & Joinery learners at Level 1
- Deliver both practical and theory sessions in line with curriculum requirements
- Provide support, encouragement, and guidance to help learners progress
- Develop resources and contribute to curriculum planning
- Ensure a safe learning environment in line with college policies
About You
- Qualified to at least Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent)
- Teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLLS) – or willingness to achieve one
- Recent industry experience in Carpentry & Joinery
- Previous teaching or training experience desirable, but not essential
- Passion for supporting and developing learners at foundation level
- Candidates must have a current DBS
