Eden Brown Synergy are currently recruiting for an experienced Family Court Adviser (FCA) to join CAFCASS, covering Surrey and Sussex, based from the Brighton office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload across both Public and Private Law proceedings.
- Completing safeguarding enquiries, risk assessments, and child impact analysis.
- Undertaking direct work with children and families to establish wishes, feelings, and lived experiences.
- Preparing clear, analytical, and timely reports for court in line with statutory timescales.
- Making recommendations to the court that safeguard and promote children's welfare.
- Working collaboratively with courts, local authorities, legal representatives, and partner agencies.
- Ensuring all practice complies with CAFCASS standards, policies, and relevant legislation.
Pay Rate:
- £37.00 p/h Umbrella
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work qualification (Degree or equivalent).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Experience within CAFCASS or substantial Public and/or Private Law children's experience.
- Strong assessment, analytical, and court report writing skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a complex caseload.
