Overview
Eden Brown are seeking an experienced Training & Development Coach for a Further Education College in Lancashire to support the delivery of Health & Social Care apprenticeship programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support a caseload of Health & Social Care apprentices.
- Deliver coaching, mentoring, and assessment activities in line with apprenticeship standards and awarding body requirements.
- Conduct workplace reviews, progress meetings and assessments.
- Support learners in gathering evidence and preparing for End‐Point Assessment (EPA).
- Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records using relevant systems.
- Ensure all apprenticeship delivery meets quality assurance, compliance and funding requirements.
- Build effective relationships with employers and stakeholders across the Lancashire area.
- Provide guidance and support to learners to maximise achievement and timely completion rates.
Apprenticeship Standards Delivered
- Level 2 Adult Care Worker
- Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker
- Level 5 Leader in Adult Care
Essential Requirements
- Recognised Trainer Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA, D32/D33 or equivalent).
- Occupational competence within Health & Social Care.
- Significant experience within leadership and management roles in Adult Care settings.
- Experience delivering and assessing Health & Social Care apprenticeship standards, including Level 5 programmes.
- Relevant qualifications at or above the level being delivered.
- Strong understanding of apprenticeship frameworks, standards and assessment processes.
- Excellent communication, organisational and learner engagement skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Current DBS check.
