Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic A Level Film Studies Lecturer for a Further Education College in Lancashire. This is a full-time temporary role to start ASAP until the end of the Academic Year. Hours are 8:30am - 4:30pm.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate subject specialist to deliver predominantly A Level Film Studies, alongside a small amount of Vocational Media Studies teaching. The successful candidate must be a confident and knowledgeable Film Studies specialist with the ability to inspire learners and deliver high-quality teaching.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across A Level Film Studies
  • Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with awarding body requirements
  • Support student progress and achievement through high-quality teaching and feedback
  • Contribute to the wider success of the department
  • Deliver a small proportion of teaching within Vocational Media Studies
Requirements
  • A degree in Film, Media or a closely related subject
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) is desirable
  • Proven experience teaching A Level Film Studies
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for film and media
  • Experience within Further Education or secondary education settings is advantageous
  • Candidates must have a DBS on the update service
