Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Team Manager - HIT & OT to join the OT Reablement Team in Buckinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced health or social care professional with strong leadership skills and a background in Occupational Therapy, Reablement or integrated services. The successful candidate will lead and manage services, drive improvements and ensure adults receive high-quality, person-centred support to maximise their independence and wellbeing.
Location: Buckinghamshire
Pay Rate: £45 per hour
Working Arrangement: Hybrid - a mixture of home working, office-based work and visits to client premises.
Department: OT Reablement
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Occupational Therapy and Reablement services.
- Provide professional leadership, supervision and support to staff.
- Oversee service delivery, performance management and service improvements.
- Promote independence and support adults to remain safely in their own homes.
- Ensure compliance with Adult Social Care legislation, safeguarding requirements and professional standards.
- Work collaboratively with NHS, health and social care partners.
- Influence strategic planning and contribute to the development of integrated services.
- Champion the contribution of Occupational Therapy across services and partnerships.
Essential Requirements:
- Extensive experience leading Occupational Therapy services and/or integrated OT and Reablement teams within health or social care.
- Strong understanding of professional governance, OT standards and reablement best practice.
- Ability to influence strategic direction and drive service development.
- Expert knowledge of Adult Social Care legislation, safeguarding and professional practice.
- Excellent leadership, communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent and a recognised health or social care qualification.
- Registration with Social Work England or the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist, as applicable to the professional background.
- Full UK driving licence.
- HCPC Registered.
