Eden Brown Synergy is recruiting an Occupational Therapist to join our fast-paced Front Door team in Brent. You will work with adults living in the community, completing person-centred assessments and providing interventions to support independence and wellbeing. This role involves working collaboratively with clients, families, carers, and other health and social care professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete functional OT assessments to identify physical, sensory, psychological, and cognitive needs in relation to Activities of Daily Living.
- Develop short treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and carers.
- Identify and raise safeguarding concerns; support safeguarding enquiries under section 42 duties.
- Apply the Mental Capacity Act as required to support best-interest decisions.
- Manage a protected caseload, with opportunities for progression through the OT preceptorship/development programme.
- Provide and demonstrate safe use of standard and moving/handling equipment to clients and carers.
- Collaborate with housing and other services to support adaptations and grant applications.
- Attend joint visits and meetings with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Review appropriateness and safety of all OT interventions.
