Your expertise will help shape the practice and improve outcomes for children and their families in the community.
As a Senior Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and mentoring a team of social workers, providing guidance and support in case management.
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
- Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with local and national policies and procedures, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Maintaining accurate and timely case records, and contributing to the evaluation of service delivery.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in child protection and family support services.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a commitment to collaborative working.
