Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Practitioner to join the Family Help Team at Birmingham Children’s Trust.
Pay Rate: £33.30 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: B6 4DU, Birmingham
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated Family Help Team, supporting children and families through effective intervention, assessment and partnership working. You will play a key role in providing high-quality social work practice, supporting positive outcomes for children and helping families access the right support at the right time.
As a Senior Practitioner, you will provide professional guidance and mentoring to colleagues, support the delivery of effective interventions, manage complex cases and contribute to maintaining high standards of practice across the service.
Key Skills Required
- Experience working within Family Help, Child Protection, Child in Need or Assessment Teams
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, assessment and risk management processes
- Experience managing complex caseloads and undertaking statutory assessments
- Ability to provide advice, guidance and support to social workers
- Strong communication, report writing and multi-agency working skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with children, families and partner agencies
- Social Work England registration required
Essential Requirements
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- Registered with Social Work England
- Previous experience within Children's Services
- Strong understanding of statutory safeguarding legislation and children’s social care practice
