Qualified Social Worker - Child Protection Inquiry Team β Birmingham Children's Trust
Pay Rate: Β£33.30 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: B6 4DU, Birmingham
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated social worker to join the Child Protection Inquiry Team at Birmingham Children's Trust. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist safeguarding team, undertaking Child Protection enquiries, completing statutory assessments and working closely with partner agencies to ensure children are safeguarded and receive timely interventions.
You will be responsible for managing complex safeguarding concerns, completing Section 47 enquiries, assessing risk and contributing to child-centred plans that promote positive outcomes.
Key Skills Required- Experience within Child Protection, Safeguarding, Duty & Assessment or Child in Need Teams
- Strong knowledge of statutory safeguarding legislation and child protection procedures
- Experience completing Section 47 enquiries and statutory assessments
- Excellent communication, report writing and analytical skills
- Strong multi-agency working experience
- Social Work England registration required
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- Registered with Social Work England
- Previous experience within Children's Services
- Strong knowledge of statutory safeguarding legislation and children's social care practice
- DBS check processed and paid for by Eden Brown Synergy
