Join our dedicated Adults Constituency Team in Birmingham as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) and make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable adults in our community. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled social worker who is committed to providing high-quality assessments, support, and interventions to promote the wellbeing and independence of adults in need.

As a Qualified Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing person-centered care plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
  • Providing ongoing support, guidance, and advocacy to clients and their support networks.
  • Working closely with other professionals and agencies to ensure integrated service delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely case records in accordance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practices in adult social care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Proven experience in working with adults with complex needs and safeguarding issues.
