We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Birmingham Adult Safeguarding team. This position offers a competitive rate of £28.40 per hour and provides an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable adults. As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in safeguarding individuals at risk and ensuring their welfare in accordance with legislation and best practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting assessments of adults at risk, identifying their needs and risks.

  • Providing support and guidance to individuals and their families, facilitating access to appropriate services.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
