Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated SP to join the Child in Care Team at Birmingham Council.
Pay Rate: £33.30 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: Lifford House, B30 3BN
As a SP in the Child in Care Team, you will manage casework for children and young people with care plans. You will ensure placement stability, provide consistent support, and work towards achieving the best outcomes for children in care. You will work collaboratively with carers, families, and partner agencies to build strong support networks and promote long-term stability and wellbeing.
Key Skills Required
- Experience working within Child in Care/Looked After Children services
- Ability to manage complex casework and ensure placement stability
- Strong skills in building relationships with children, carers, and partner agencies
- Ability to produce high-quality assessments and reports
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a varied caseload
- Strong decision-making and professional judgement
Essential Requirements
- Social Work Qualification - Degree, DipSW, or equivalent
- Registered with Social Work England
- Experience within children's services
- 5 years reference, gaps in employment history checked, and relevant qualifications as per JDPS
