Are you a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker looking to make a significant impact in the Birmingham area?

We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our Child Protection Inquiry Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with families and other agencies to ensure the safety and well‑being of children in our community.

  • As a member of the Child Protection Inquiry Team, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting thorough assessments and investigations in response to child protection concerns.
  • Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date case records and documentation.
  • Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services.
  • Participating in multi‑agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding plans.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e. g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working in partnership with families and professionals.
