Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join the Assessment Team at Birmingham Children's Trust.
Pay Rate: £33.29 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: B6 4DU, Birmingham
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic Assessment Team, working with children, young people and families at the front end of Children's Services. You will be responsible for undertaking assessments, identifying risks and needs, and ensuring that children receive the right support and interventions at the earliest opportunity.
Key Skills Required:
- Experience within Assessment, Safeguarding, Child Protection and Children in Need services
- Ability to undertake comprehensive assessments and formulate effective plans
- Strong risk assessment and decision-making skills
- Experience working collaboratively with children, families and multi-agency partners
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and work within statutory timescales
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- Registered with Social Work England
- Previous experience within Children's Services
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies and procedures
