Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for a Practice Supervisor to join their Early Help & CASS Team at Birmingham Children's Trust.

Location: One Avenue Road, Westlands Birmingham B6 4DU

Rate: £33.30 per hour (Umbrella)

Contract: Temporary

Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and support to social workers and practitioners
  • Oversee case management to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safeguarding standards
  • Support decision-making within Early Help and Children’s Advice & Support Service (CASS)
  • Ensure timely assessments, interventions, and appropriate outcomes for children and families
  • Promote best practice and continuous professional development within the team
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
  • Significant experience within Early Help, MASH, or frontline children’s services
  • Previous supervisory or senior practitioner experience
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and statutory frameworks
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills

Essential Requirements:

  • Social Work Qualification – Degree or equivalent
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a social worker within children’s services
  • Social Work England Registration
