Social Worker required to join as a Deputy Team Manager work within the Children in Care Team based in Keynsham in the historic county of Bath and North-East Somerset. This is an exciting opportunity with excellent rates of pay up to £38-40ph. 3 month contract but with the opportunity to extend. 22.5 hours per week (3 days). Expectation would be office based in Keynsham at least 2 days a week as a minimum.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Team Manager to join our Looked After Children (LAC) / Children in Care (CIC) Team in Bath and North East Somerset. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Senior Social Worker or Deputy Team Manager looking to step into a leadership role within a supportive and forward-thinking local authority. You will work alongside the Team Manager to lead, develop and support a team of Social Workers and Personal Advisors to achieve the best possible outcomes for our children and young people in care.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Team Manager in the operational management of the LAC/CIC team
- Provide high-quality supervision, guidance and support to Social Workers
- Oversee care planning, permanence planning and pathway planning
- Promote stability, permanence and positive outcomes for children in care
- Support quality assurance and performance management within the team
You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK.
