Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker / Advanced Practitioner to join the Intervention & Planning Team for Barnet Council.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage complex caseloads involving Child Protection, Child in Need, and care proceedings.
- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop robust care and intervention plans.
- Undertake court-related work, including report writing and attendance at hearings.
- Deliver purposeful direct work with children and families to reduce risk and promote long-term stability.
- Support and mentor social workers, contributing to professional development and quality practice.
- Work within a multi-agency framework to safeguard children effectively.
- Maintain high-quality case recordings and comply with statutory timescales.

- £39.04 p/h Umbrella
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work qualification (Degree or equivalent)
- Social Work England registration
- Significant experience within Children's Social Care
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and care proceedings
- Experience within Intervention, Planning, or similar statutory teams
