The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Band 7 Podiatrist to join a specialist community diabetes team in Brighton. This role will be based at Moulsecoomb Health Centre and focuses on providing advanced podiatric care to patients with complex diabetic needs. You'll be joining a well-established multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across Brighton and Hove.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced podiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for diabetic patients
- Work autonomously and as part of the wider diabetes team to reduce foot-related complications
- Provide wound care, offloading techniques, and preventative advice
- Maintain accurate records on SystmOne and contribute to care planning and reviews
- Participate in case discussions and multi-agency meetings as required
Essential Requirements
- HCPC-registered Podiatrist
- Minimum Band 7 level experience within community or specialist diabetes services
- Proficient in SystmOne
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- NHS Smart Card
- Excellent clinical reasoning, time management, and documentation skills
