Social worker is required to join as an experienced Assistant Team Manager (ATM) to work within the Children and Young Persons Disability Team in Wiltshire. Pay rate £42ph, 37 hours week. 3 months long contract to be reviewed. Flexible working. Hybrid role - 50% of admin time can be done remotely. 1 day a week.

County wide roles, so office time can be worked in one or more of the below locations:

  • County Hall, Trowbridge
  • Bourne Hill, Salisbury
  • Monkton Park, Chippenham

We have two ATM opportunities:

  • CYPDT ATM: This is a county-wide Assistant Team Manager (ATM) role within the Children and Young Persons Disability Team, providing critical management oversight during a period of reduced substantive capacity. The position supports safe service delivery, strengthens operational stability, and ensures appropriate supervision across the team. The role is designed with flexibility, offering a hybrid approach with a balance of office presence and remote working across the county.
  • This is a county-wide peripatetic ATM role established to provide flexible, responsive management support across SASS teams experiencing capacity gaps. The role enables targeted deployment to areas of highest need, improving resilience, strengthening oversight, and supporting consistent practice standards. The position offers flexibility in working arrangements, with a hybrid model and adaptability in office base depending on service demand.
