Eden Brown are seeking an Assistant Team Leader - King's Trust (previously The Prince's Trust) for a Further Education College in Manchester. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people aged 16-24 to develop the confidence, skills and resilience needed to progress into further education, training or employment.
The Role
You will assist the Team Leader in delivering part of the King's Trust Team qualification, supporting a small group of learners (group size of 9), many of whom have additional social, emotional and behavioural needs.

Learning is delivered through classroom-based activities, workbook evidence, enrichment projects, trips and visits, creating an engaging and practical learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support delivery of the King's Trust Team programme alongside the Team Leader
- Motivate and engage learners to build confidence and develop personal and employability skills
- Provide pastoral and behavioural support to students with additional needs
- Support learners in completing and evidencing work through programme booklets and activities
- Assist with organising and supporting trips, visits and community-based activities
- Encourage positive participation, attendance and progression outcomes
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
Essential Requirements
- Experience of working with post-16 students
- Experience supporting young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs
- Ability to engage, motivate and build positive relationships with learners
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
