Eden Brown Synergy is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Senior Practitioner to join a busy and high-performing Working Age Adult Mental Health & Substance Misuse Service based in the popular seaside town of Hastings. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled senior social work professional looking to take on a leadership role within a fast-paced specialist service, supporting adults with complex mental health and substance misuse needs while helping to drive team performance and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Hold a small caseload of complex cases within the Mental Health and Substance Misuse service.
- Support the Practice Manager with the effective day-to-day operational running of the team.
- Provide supervision, guidance and professional support to team members.
- Monitor team performance and utilise performance data and reporting tools to drive service improvement.
- Ensure high-quality, person-centred interventions and positive outcomes for service users.
- Assist in the development and implementation of best practice across the service.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
- Significant post-qualified experience within Adult Mental Health and Substance Misuse Services.
- Previous experience working at Senior Practitioner or Senior Social Worker level.
- Proven staff supervision and mentoring experience.
- Strong IT skills and confidence using performance data and management reporting systems.
- Ability to manage competing priorities within a demanding and fast-paced environment.
