Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Health and Social Care Lecturer to join a college in Greater Manchester on a full-time, temporary basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering Health and Social Care programmes, supporting students to develop the knowledge, skills and professional behaviours they need for progression into employment, higher education and the health and social care sector.

The role

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across Health and Social Care programmes.
  • Develop teaching, learning and assessment materials that meet curriculum and awarding-body requirements.
  • Support students to achieve their academic and vocational goals.
  • Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback and intervention where required.
  • Contribute to the development and review of the curriculum.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide an outstanding student experience.

About you

We are looking for someone who is passionate about education and has relevant experience within Health and Social Care and/or teaching at Level 3. You will ideally have:

  • A relevant degree or professional qualification in Health and Social Care or a related subject.
  • Teaching or lecturing experience within further education, sixth form or a similar setting.
  • Experience delivering Level 3 Health and Social Care and, ideally, T Levels.
  • A recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
  • Strong knowledge of current Health and Social Care practice and sector expectations.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and classroom-management skills.
  • A commitment to supporting students from diverse backgrounds to achieve their potential.
