The predicted salary is between 59400 - 72600 Β£ per year.

The role will involve:

  • Providing strategic leadership across education strategy, pupil place planning, school sufficiency and access arrangements across the borough.
  • Leading SEND, Inclusion, Educational Psychology, Outreach Services, Virtual School, Admissions and Vulnerable Pupils Services to ensure high quality outcomes for children and young people.
  • Driving improvements in inclusion, attendance and exclusion reduction through effective partnership working with schools, health partners and wider stakeholders.
  • Leading preparation for Ofsted, CQC and other regulatory inspections, implementing improvement plans and ensuring compliance with statutory responsibilities.
  • Managing significant budgets, service performance and workforce development whilst delivering service transformation and continuous improvement.
  • Acting as a key senior leader within Education and Learning, providing advice to elected members, presenting reports and contributing to wider Childrens Services strategy.
  • Ensuring effective school admissions, Fair Access Protocols and provision for vulnerable learners, including children with SEND.
