Vacancy: Temporary Travel and Tourism Lecturer

Contract: Temporary
Hours: Full-time - 36 hours per week
Salary: £30 - £40 per hour
Eden Brown are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic and knowledgeable Travel and Tourism Lecturer to join a college in Greater Manchester on a temporary, full-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced lecturer or an industry professional with a background in travel and tourism to share their knowledge, inspire learners and support students in developing the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the travel and tourism industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality teaching and learning sessions in Travel and Tourism.
* Develop learner's knowledge of the travel and tourism industry, including destinations, customer service, tour operations and travel agency services.
* Prepare learning materials, schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the curriculum.
* Assess student's work, provide constructive feedback and monitor progress towards learning objectives.
* Support and motivate learners to achieve their academic and vocational qualifications.
* Maintain accurate student records, attendance registers and assessment documentation.
* Promote an inclusive, supportive and positive learning environment.
* Contribute to quality assurance, curriculum development and safeguarding procedures.
Essential Requirements
* A relevant qualification or strong industry knowledge in Travel and Tourism.
* Previous teaching, training or relevant industry experience.
* Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to engage, motivate and support learners from a range of backgrounds.
* A commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a college team.
* A recognised teaching qualification and experience delivering vocational qualifications.
A DBS is also needed for this role.
