Eden Brown are seeking a dedicated MIS/Exams Officer on behalf of a leading further education college in Greater Manchester.
About the Role:
As the MIS/Exams Officer, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the administration of examinations, assessment data, and student records. Working closely with academic and support staff, you will ensure that all internal and external data reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant with funding and awarding body requirements. This is a full-time temporary position with a strong potential to become permanent, offering an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career within the Further Education sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the exams office, including scheduling, entry, invigilation planning, and results processing
- Maintain accurate student records and enrolment data within the Management Information System (MIS)
- Ensure compliance with awarding body regulations and deadlines
- Provide reports and analysis to support curriculum planning, funding returns, and quality assurance
- Liaise with staff, students, and external agencies in a professional and responsive manner
About You:
- Experience working with Management Information Systems in an education setting (e.g., ProSolution, EBS, or similar)
- Strong understanding of examination processes, data management, and reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- A proactive, flexible approach to work and a commitment to continuous improvement
