Role GCSE English Teacher Location Greater Manchester Type Full-time Temporary Salary £30-£33 per hour – 37 hours per week Eden Brown are seeking a dedicated and experienced English GCSE teacher on behalf of an FE College in the Greater Manchester area. This is a full-time, temporary on-going role with additional responsibilities as outlined below: * Deliver high-quality classes to GCSE English students * Attend and contribute to staff meetings and professional development * Support students with low ability and low confidence, ensuring an inclusive and encouraging learning environment * Manage administrative tasks efficiently and use technology effectively in the classroom The suitable candidate will have: * A recognised teaching qualification and experience teaching English to GCSE Level and also, preferably, knowledge of Functional Skills * Strong administrative and time management skills * Ability to work collaboratively as a team player * Proficient with technology and capable of adapting to a busy and dynamic environment * Demonstrated ability to support and engage students with varying levels of ability and confidence A DBS Is also needed for this role, if you do not have a current DBS check Eden Brown can apply on your behalf.
