The opportunity We’re looking for a strategic and people-focused Resource Management Lead to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave in our UK business. This is a high-impact role at the centre of Edelman’s largest and most complex market in EMEA. You will play a critical role in ensuring continuity, stability, and strong stakeholder alignment across the UK business, while continuing to evolve how we deploy talent.
Role Resource Management is the engine that ensures we bring together the right people, at the right time, to deliver exceptional work. In this role, you will:
- Lead and support the UK RM team, maintaining a culture of clarity, fairness, and collaboration
- Partner with UK leadership to manage workforce planning and resourcing priorities
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, navigating competing demands across practices and clients
- Drive consistency and rigour in supply and demand planning, using data to inform decisions
- Ensure effective cross-market collaboration, connecting UK talent to regional and global opportunities
- Maintain and optimise RM tools, reporting, and processes to support business performance
- Contribute to ongoing transformation initiatives, including AI-enabled ways of working
What you’ll bring:
- Strong experience in resource management, workforce planning, operations, or talent deployment
- Proven ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment
- A data-led mindset with the ability to translate insights into clear, actionable decisions
- Experience leading or supporting teams, with a focus on clarity, development, and inclusion
- Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with competing priorities
- A collaborative, calm, and pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Exposure to transformation initiatives such as systems implementation or process improvement is a plus
