This is an exciting opportunity for a smart, passionate candidate who wants to accelerate their career working on a range of leading technology brands with an award-winning team. You will be able to confidently manage teams, maintaining motivation and keeping to tight deadlines, and ensuring attention to detail. Part of this includes client management and being able to manage and respond to client requests, ensuring materials are completed on time and at the highest standard. You will also be used to running multi-market campaigns in EMEA, and how to communicate with other markets and ensure campaigns are planned and executed consistently. You’ll also have experience in developing plans which take complex technology and translate it into meaningful benefits for business and society. Your strong creative thinking is needed. You will be a strong writer and be able to create and manage budgets. You will have supreme B2B and consumer technology media relations knowledge and experience, including fintech and cybersecurity. You will have a little black book of media contacts and be eager to expand this further and help coach the junior team in developing media relations skills. Key Responsibilities- Client liaison – day-to-day client contact
- Proactive thinking – around campaigns and in day-to-day account work
- Effective management of the team down, across and up
- Demonstration of creative campaign development and presentation, promoting technology solutions to business and consumer audiences
- Managing multi-market campaigns across the UK and EMEA
- Strategic media relations experience in the UK (and ideally EMEA)
- B2B and B2C tech experience, ideally with some in fintech and cybersecurity but not essential
- Developing and managing client budgets
- Proven track record of working in or with global technology brands
- Experience in developing plans which take complex technology and translate it into meaningful benefits for business and potentially consumers
- Strong client counsel experience
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and unite teams around delivering client plans
- Strong technology media relations in the B2B and B2C space, having proof of how your feature ideas have translated into strong media coverage
