This is a rare opportunity to work for a trusted name in the professional services and property advisory sectors, providing specialist insurance support to insolvency practitioners, commercial property clients, and businesses involved in sales, restructuring, and disposals.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing and developing an existing portfolio of commercial insurance clients across several key areas, including:
- Business sales and asset disposal cover
- Professional indemnity, public liability, and employers’ liability
- Property owners and landlord insurance
- Unoccupied property and specialist risk
Alongside a strong stream of inbound leads and repeat clients, you\’ll work closely with insolvency practitioners, financial institutions, commercial agents, and property professionals across the Eddisons group to identify and convert new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on their commercial insurance needs, providing technical expertise and tailored cover recommendations
- Conduct client meetings where required and liaise with underwriters to secure best terms
- Handle renewals, MTAs and claims support with professionalism and care
- Build long-term relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners
About You
- Experienced in commercial insurance broking (CII qualifications preferred but not essential)
- Strong understanding of property and business-related risk
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills
- Proactive, organised, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- A genuine interest in specialist markets and providing added-value service
- Self starter and ability to both place and service insurance contracts
