HGV Class 1 Tramper - Bulk Haulage
Full-Time UK Wide Nights Away Required
Key Requirements (Must Have)- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with clean driving record
- Proven long-distance / tramper driving experience
- Willingness to work away from home (nights out required)
- Experience with bulk tipper work desirable
- Self-loading experience (telescopic handler) preferred but not essential
- Strong attitude to learn self-loading operations if not experienced
We are looking for a professional HGV Class 1 Tramper to join our bulk haulage team, transporting aggregates and animal feed across the UK. This is a long-distance role requiring reliability, strong driving skills, and a positive, can-do attitude.
Responsibilities- Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles in line with all regulations
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
- Transport bulk loads securely, ensuring correct loading/unloading
- Carry out self-loading duties (training provided where needed)
- Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
- Follow delivery schedules while managing delays professionally
- Comply with driver hours and rest regulations
- Represent the company professionally with customers
- Reliable, safety-focused and self-motivated
- Able to work independently over long distances
- Good communication and time management skills
- Flexible with working hours and nights away
