Stobart are now looking to recruit HGV Class 1 Drivers to work on their Rail (Containers) and Bulk Mixer (Tanker) operation in Rugby.
Job Description
The Rail work is a container operation and will involve moving curtain sided containers in and out of ESL rail terminals throughout the UK. It will also include loading and unloading at our customer sites. Skeletal trailer training and curtain sided box training will be provided.
The Bulk Mixer operation uses bulk tankers and will involve loading liquid yeast from Felixstowe and moving tankers up to Rugby and Carlisle. The role will mainly consist of running down to Felixstowe to load and back to Rugby and will include trunking the tankers between Rugby and Carlisle.
Shifts on Rail Operation:
- Monday-Friday Days from 06:00am / Nights from 18:00pm.
- Sunday-Thursday Days from 06:00am.
Shifts on Bulk Mixer Operation:
- Sunday-Thursday from 06:00am.
- Monday-Friday Nights from 18:00pm.
- Mon-Fri Days - £15.00per hour (including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
- Mon-Fri Night Shift - £16.30 per hour(including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
- Saturday and Sunday Day Shift - £18.00 per hour(including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
- Saturday and Sunday Night Shift - £18.50 per hour(including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
- Bank Holidays - £18.81 per hour(including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
Qualifications
- You will need 6 months Class 1 experience.
- You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho Card.
- No more than 6 points on your Licence with no DD/ DR Code convictions.
- Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
- Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.
- Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
