Our client, a leading global consulting organisation, is seeking a procurement specialist to join its growing Capital Expenditure (CapEx) Procurement practice at Manager level. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth, strategically important team delivering complex procurement and commercial solutions across major capital and infrastructure programmes. The role offers exposure to large-scale projects, particularly within energy & natural resources (including oil & gas, utilities and power), with opportunities to work alongside senior stakeholders and contribute to high-impact outcomes.
As a Manager within the CapEx Procurement team, you will play a key role in delivering client engagements and supporting the continued growth of the practice. Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading workstreams across CapEx procurement and transformation programmes
- Supporting delivery of capital programme optimisation, procurement strategy, and commercial delivery initiatives
- Building strong client relationships and engaging with senior stakeholders
- Ensuring high-quality delivery and measurable client outcomes
- Supporting business development activities, including proposals and client pitches
- Contributing to internal capability development, tools, and methodologies
- Mentoring junior team members and supporting team development
Essential experience:
- Experience within consulting, procurement, or capital programme environments
- Exposure to CapEx-intensive sectors such as energy, utilities, infrastructure, or similar
- Involvement in large-scale capital projects or programmes (ideally £50m+)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
- Willingness to travel as required
