Are you an experienced procurement professional looking for something different? You’ve spent the last 7–12 years leading sourcing initiatives, influencing stakeholders, managing supplier relationships and driving procurement transformation. You’ve built credibility within your organisation, but you’re ready for a role where you can use that experience in a more strategic, customer-facing capacity. If you enjoy building relationships, solving complex business challenges and helping organisations get the most from technology, this could be the career move you’ve been looking for.

We’re working with a market-leading enterprise software provider that partners with many of the world’s largest procurement organisations. They’re looking for someone who understands procurement from the inside and can become a trusted advisor to senior procurement leaders across a portfolio of enterprise customers. This is not a sales role in the traditional sense. It’s about helping customers succeed, identifying opportunities to create more value and becoming someone your clients genuinely rely upon.

The Opportunity

You’ll manage a portfolio of large enterprise customers across the UK and Europe, developing long-term relationships with Chief Procurement Officers, Heads of Procurement and Procurement Excellence teams. Using your procurement expertise, you’ll understand each customer’s strategic priorities, advise on best practice and help them maximise the value of a leading procurement technology platform. Rather than selling products, you’ll be helping customers solve business problems, improve adoption and identify opportunities where additional capabilities can deliver even greater value.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Acting as the trusted advisor for a portfolio of strategic enterprise customers
  • Building strong relationships with procurement leadership teams and key business stakeholders
  • Understanding each customer’s procurement strategy, operating model and transformation objectives
  • Leading commercial conversations including renewals and growth opportunities
  • Working closely with implementation, consulting and product specialists to ensure customers achieve measurable business outcomes
  • Identifying opportunities to expand customer engagement through a consultative approach
  • Representing the voice of the customer internally to influence future product development

Who We’re Looking For

This role is ideal for someone who has built a successful procurement career and is looking to apply that experience in a different environment. You’ll probably have:

  • Around 7–12 years’ experience within procurement, strategic sourcing, category management or procurement transformation
  • Experience working with enterprise organisations and multiple senior stakeholders
  • Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how procurement creates business value
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage at Director and C‑suite level
  • A naturally consultative style: you enjoy asking questions, understanding challenges and helping people find solutions
  • An interest in technology and how digital solutions can transform procurement functions
  • The ability to build credibility quickly and become a trusted business partner

Experience with procurement technology, procurement consulting or customer‑facing roles would be advantageous but is by no means essential. What’s far more important is your ability to build relationships and understand the challenges procurement leaders face.

Why Make the Move?

This is an opportunity to step away from the operational pressures of day‑to‑day procurement while continuing to work with procurement leaders on some of their most strategic initiatives. You’ll have the chance to:

  • Use your procurement expertise in a more consultative and influential role
  • Work with some of the world’s largest organisations
  • Develop broader commercial and customer relationship skills
  • Join a collaborative, international software business experiencing continued growth
  • Enjoy a flexible hybrid working environment based in London
  • Build a long‑term career within one of the fastest-growing areas of enterprise technology
