Edbro was founded in Bolton in 1916, and we are still based in the city over 100 years later, employing over 140 people. Edbro is the market leader in the field of vehicle-mounted hydraulics systems, including front-end, underbody and ejector cylinders, waste handling equipment and customised hydraulic kit solutions.
What will you do?
- Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, turning and milling.
- Loads material into machines
- Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces
- Performs work by following the company\βs operating standards
- Regularly inspects machines for mechanical and safety issues
- Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
- Maintains and updates records about the machine\βs operations and the team\βs overall performance
- Keeps a focus on safety by helping others to conduct themselves appropriately around operating machinery
- Works a flexible schedule to keep up with production demand during busy production periods
- Pays constant attention to surroundings to reduce accidents and injuries
- Works cordially with team members

The working pattern will be 37 hours a week on either a rotating 2 shift system (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm Mon-Thurs, with Fridays as 6am-12.40pm, 12.35pm-7.15pm) or 4 daysMonday β Thursday, 7am β 4.45pm depending on business requirements.
We offer a great benefits package including 33 days holiday a year (including Bank Holidays and Christmas Shutdown), a total 11.56% pension and a medical cashplan.
