Health And Safety Officer in Bolton

This is perfect for an experienced professional who wants to make a real impact on workplace safety.

You’ll work closely with the senior team and receive support from an external H&S consultancy.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct safety inspections and audits.
• Review fire risk assessments and ensure compliance.
• Monitor Safe Operating Procedures and environmental controls.
• Coordinate compliance checks (LOLER, COSHH, legionella, fire safety).
• Report incidents, near misses, and improvement opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

• NEBOSH General Certificate
• Fire Safety knowledge.
• IOSH membership.
• Knowledge of ISO9001/ISO45001 and experience in engineering environments.

Desirable:

• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Experience in manufacturing or engineering.

This role is a full time role – 37 hours per week – onsite in Bolton
