Contract: FTE Contract (12 months (with possible extension))
Location: customer (North West): Hybrid, minimum 4 days per week onsite
Area: Electrical Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, configure, and maintain connected car test rigs and vehicles
- Flash ECUs and software using OEM / Group tools
- Maintain correct HW/SW integration levels on vehicles and benches
- Support testing activities by ensuring reliable test environments
- Manage configuration status, bookings, and documentation
- Support workshop coordination, parts handling, and BOM‑related activities
- Provide day‑to‑day support to test engineers onsite
- Other tasks as assigned by your manager.
Requirements
- Strong hands‑on experience with automotive test vehicles and test rigs
- Proven experience with ECU flashing and integration activities
- Experience with CAN‑based diagnostics and analysis
- Structured and reliable working style with good documentation skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers in the automotive industry
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Prior onsite delivery experience within OEM test organisations
- Desired tool experience: ODIS, CP Tool, iDEX
- Desired tool experience: Vector CANoe / CANalyser
- Desired tool experience: JIRA, Confluence
- Degree educated in relevant field. ECUK registration would be beneficial
- Effective teamwork skills in a global team environment
- Effective in solving quality challenges
- High level of analytical ability, where problems are unusual and difficult
- MS‑Office proficiency
- Willingness to travel to customer location as required, local and global
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with German as a plus
