Overview

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on ManageEngine Consultant to conduct an independent audit of an existing ManageEngine environment. The organisation has invested in several ManageEngine modules; however, they are either not fully configured, poorly configured, or significantly underutilised. Your role will be to assess the current implementation, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide clear, practical recommendations to maximise the value of the platform. This initial engagement has the potential to develop into a longer-term optimisation and implementation project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct a full audit of the existing ManageEngine environment.
  • Review current configurations, workflows, automations, and integrations.
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and unused functionality across the platform.
  • Produce a detailed report with recommendations and prioritised improvement opportunities.
  • Advise on IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices and platform optimisation.
  • Work closely with IT leadership and the Service Management function to understand business requirements.
  • Support the implementation of recommended improvements should the project progress.

Required Experience

  • Proven hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and optimising ManageEngine solutions (particularly ServiceDesk Plus).
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and ITIL best practices.
  • Experience conducting technical audits and producing actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and provide objective, unbiased consultancy.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced consultant looking to add value by transforming an underutilised ManageEngine environment into an efficient, business-enabling ITSM platform.
