They have already invested in a new factory, further warehousing & infrastructure. They have posted consistent year on year growth to north of £100m turnover, delivering significant profit which has led to this self-funded, seven figure investment keeping this business debt free. The next port of call, now the infrastructure is in place, is to add to their brilliant team. They are a great bunch who enjoy the thrill of the commercial chase, growing sustainable & robust businesses and empowering people to really deliver best in class consumer products.

The Role

We require a Senior National Account Manager with multiple fiscal cycles under your belt to come in and drive the Foodservice channel across Bidfood and Brakes. The growth will come from increasing distribution through the current product portfolio, and driving your team of reports across the route to market, on trade and end user customers sets. They already have the relationships in place, so this is about making your own mark & delivering on those across Foodservice. You must have food or beverage experience with a strong understanding of route to market, foodservice, Vending & HORECA. You will have full responsibility for the growth of your customers and a keen eye for growth in OOH.

About You

To be successful we need a passionate team player who exudes positivity and a can-do attitude. This is a business focused on strong values and sustained growth so the focus on doing the right thing is a must. You will already have a strong background in large, branded consumer business and have experienced multiple rotations within the OOH sector. People management experience is important too, whether that be a direct report or field team management internally or externally. Food experience is essential here. This is a business of foodies who have some of the most fantastic products in their categories sold to Tesco and Michelin starred restaurants. Category data and insight led working is key to continuing the customer success story they have here too and remember this is not a big business it’s more like a start up in nature, agility, speed and being able to don more than one hat is key here.

What you need to bring

  • Experience in sales & people management.
  • National Key Account experience in a branded FMCG business.
  • Experience of food is essential.
  • OOH/Foodservice customer experience is essential.
  • Positive team player.
  • Strong relationship skills, both internally and externally to entice people.
