The Role:
This is a pivotal, senior leadership role that sits at the heart of our clients national sales engine.
You’ll lead the sales delivery number, systems, processes, and strategy that drive UK retail performance across 100+ dealer sites, ensuring targets are not just met, but built on solid, strategic foundations.
Core responsibilities include:
- Leading national sales operations and retail performance management
- Driving retail market share and dealer satisfaction through smarter programs
- Designing mid-term (6–12 month) sales strategies and incentive structures
- Collaborating across Finance, Product, Marketing and Distribution in a complex OEM matrix
- Acting as a trusted peer to field leaders and a commercial voice at board level
Candidate Profile: What We\’re Looking For
We’re searching for a credible, strategic, and delivery-driven operator who brings both retail depth and senior stakeholder influence. Someone who can balance short-term impact with long-term vision, and lead both people and programs with clarity.
Experience & Capability
- Senior sales delivery experience at an OEM
- Strong background in retail sales operations (not fleet-led)
- Proven track record in delivering volume with commercial integrity
- Deep understanding of UK dealer networks, margins, pressures, and motivation
- Comfortable shaping and presenting strategic direction to board-level stakeholders
- Inspiring people manager, coach, and developer of high-potential talent
- Known for building trust with dealers, teams, and internal functions alike
- Down-to-earth, hands-on, and energised by change
- Potential to grow into a broader leadership role within 1–2 years
Experience of owning sales delivery directly from an OEM is essential, together with being highly organised and natural relationship builder. You will be a strong communicator, excellent at planning and a great negotiator.
