Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute a Market-Leading Sales Strategy
- Define and implement a bold, data-driven commercial strategy to achieve aggressive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Leverage industry insights, market trends, and partner feedback to continuously refine and optimise sales approaches.
Drive High-Impact Sales Leadership
- Lead, inspire, and elevate a high-performing sales team, including Business Development Managers and Account Managers.
- Set clear, ambitious sales, retention, and profitability targets—ensuring the team consistently exceeds expectations.
- Cultivate a high-performance, results-driven culture, prioritising accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth.
Strategic Partnerships & Expansion
- Forge and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and C-suite executives, maximizing growth opportunities.
- Identify and unlock new revenue streams, scaling commercial opportunities across the UK.
- Represent the company at industry events, panels, and networking engagements, positioning the brand as an industry leader.
Cross-Functional Collaboration for Business Success
- Work closely with leadership teams across marketing, product, finance, and operations to ensure alignment and execution of business objectives.
- Champion a collaborative, customer-focused approach, ensuring seamless integration between sales and broader company strategy.
Your Background:
You will have a background in driving substantial growth in the Automotive industry, enhancing brand reputation, whilst ensuring operational excellence for both your employer and your partners.
Skills Required:
- A proven track record of leading commercial teams to consistently exceed goals, market expansion, and team performance improvement.
- Demonstrated expertise in handling intricate negotiations and overseeing long-term contract management, including experience navigating tri-party agreements.
- Experience of working in a matrix organisation with reporting to both operational and functional leadership is essential.
- Demonstrated success in operating successful B2B partnerships at scale, with experience pitching to C-suite and senior individuals.
- Experience translating financial goals into actionable sales team objectives, leveraging data and insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Previous experience as a member of a leadership team creating and implementing commercial strategies.
