The Role
This is an all-encompassing strategic Grocery Commercial Account Manager role in this dynamic and soon-to-be world-leading business. You will be joining the founding team, making it an exciting point to enter the fray. You will have responsibility for full P&L and JBP responsibility, with plenty of scope over the coming 12-18 months to grow the category you are responsible for in line with the business objectives.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute national key and regional sales plans to open doors and secure listings with key grocery and high street retailers, achieving agreed commercial terms and growth targets.
- Market Expertise: Conduct in-depth market reviews to identify opportunities and develop entry strategies for high-potential regions.
- Profit Management: Oversee P&L for key accounts, negotiating pricing and investments to ensure profitability.
- Customer Relationships: Cultivate strong connections with retailers and distributors, driving all aspects of client interaction from lead generation to launch execution.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and optimise sales performance, making data-driven decisions to adjust strategies as needed.
What We're Looking For
- A proven track record in UK Big retail with Tesco, JS, Morrisons, Asda, CoOp, etc., ideally in direct-to-retail sales within the food, drinks, pet care, or FMCG industries.
- Exceptional commercial acumen and creativity, with the ability to build mutually beneficial solutions for partners.
- A passionate, tenacious, and resilient approach, thriving in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
