Revenue growth has increased 31% globally in the last 12 months through a world renowned success story of a brand launch, Licensing acquisitions on a truly global scale and an incredible much loved core brands portfolio.
Toy has been through a challenging few years, however, this is a business that has bucked that trend with significant gains across the EMEA region, a US business performing ahead of market and a UK collectors business absolutely killing it.
This is a superb NAM role on one of the highest profile customers in the business and will require someone who can manage and develop relationships but with a strong commercial skillset. Most importantly of all, this is a business loved by all consumers and loved by its people. Itβs a concerted group full of likeable, diverse and nurturing colleagues who work hard but have fun and adore what they stand for.
About the role
We require a National Account Manager with toy category experience, who operates with the upmost care for your customers and delivers on commercial and business objectives consistently. This role reports to the Channel Lead & you have full responsibility for the strategic direction and p&l for the customer.
As part of this top notch team, you will be required to, develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders within Commercial, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, R&D, Finance and HR. Build the customer base and manage the current portfolio to continue the fantastic revenue growth results they have been achieving.
Transformation and change management is a vital part of the business plan moving forward so setting being open to change and embracing it, is the example we expect from all joining the team.
About you
This is an exciting position for an exceptional, National Account Manager & Key Account Manager who wants to have some fun. If you are a toy industry expert who loves delivering on commercial plans & have fun, you will fit right in, especially since this business requires someone who is passionate about people and brands. Weβre looking for a someone with proven experience and if you have dealt with Smyths or toy specialist retail it would be a big plus.
Other attributes required for this role include;
- Strong experience of managing top Toy industry customers
- Experience in Buying or Sales in toy category is essential
- Commercial Budgetary management exp.
- Experience working with cross functional teams across
- Excellent judgement, strong work ethic and close attention to detail
