Our client plays a unique and vital role in the UK food industry, connecting outstanding local food producers with national retailers and foodservice operators. Over two-thirds of consumers want to buy local food more often, recognising the superior quality of these products and their positive impact on local communities. However, accessibility remains a challenge—this is where our client steps in.

They enable small, local food producers to scale their businesses by providing access to a larger customer base, offering a seamless, fully integrated service. Their support includes technical and food safety expertise, IT, marketing, operations, and invoicing. Their customers include major national retailers and foodservice operators who are committed to offering high-quality, locally sourced products—often delivered fresh every day. They are passionate about supporting local communities and helping businesses thrive.

As a result of all of this great stuff, we are hiring a top notch new, National Account Manager into the Foodservice team.

The Role:

National Account Manager – Foodservice

We require a National Account Manager Business Development Manager or Regional Account Manager with Foodservice or Wholesale RTM experience to come in and continue to drive growth with key foodservice accounts and drive business in new channels and accounts. The growth will come from increasing distribution through the current product portfolio, the relationships are there to be nurtured with the route to markets set up with the likes of Bidfood, Brakes & contract catering businesses.

You must have food or beverage experience and want the opportunity to have ownership of P&L and budgets. While you will be working as part of the team the business is brilliantly set up for the modern world of remote working, so your attention to detail, reporting and willingness to drive new business wins is going to be really important.

About You:

To be successful we need a passionate team player who exudes positivity and a can-do attitude. This is a business focused on strong values and sustained growth with objectives to double revenues in the next two years. You will already have a strong background in large, branded consumer business and have experienced multiple rotations within Commercial Account Management.

What you need to bring:

  • National Key Account experience in a branded FMCG business.
  • Out of Home, Foodservice & New Business experience is essential.
  • Growth agenda mindset both personally and professionally these guys are going places.
  • Able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering new business within an FMCG business.
  • A natural people person – Great communicator; internally, externally, multi-level & cross functional.
  • Honest and open, always put the customer at the heart of everything they do.
  • An engaging and collaborative style; Energetic, courageous, motivated, and driven to make a difference.
  • Extremely organised, great attention to detail and willing to work hard.
  • High level of tenacity and creativity to seek out new opportunities to drive growth.
