Your Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute regional sales plans to open doors and secure listings with key retailers, achieving agreed commercial terms and growth targets.
- Market Expertise: Conduct in-depth market reviews to identify opportunities and develop entry strategies for high-potential regions.
- Profit Management: Oversee P&L for key accounts, negotiating pricing and investments to ensure profitability.
- Customer Relationships: Cultivate strong connections with retailers and distributors, driving all aspects of client interaction from lead generation to launch execution.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and optimise sales performance, making data-driven decisions to adjust strategies as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- A proven track record in UK Big retail with Tesco, JS, John Lewis, Boots, Aldi, Lidl etc ideally in direct-to-retail sales within the health, beauty, or FMCG industries.
- Exceptional commercial acumen and creativity, with the ability to build mutually beneficial solutions for partners.
- A passionate, tenacious, and resilient approach, thriving in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
Professional Experience:
- We need team players from FMCG branded business backgrounds - this is a company who have people with experience across some of the biggest names in the Beauty, personal care and consumer products industries.
- International Business experience would be useful but commercial experience managing complex National Accounts or Key accounts with the likes of Tesco, Boots, Superdrug, Aldi, Lidl is all relevant for this!
- At least 5 years of experience driving brand success in UK domestic market.
- Demonstrated ability to work with major retail accounts, preferably in drugstore, grocery, or pharmacy channels.
- Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to produce compelling presentations and reports.
