Account Manager – Automotive & Insurance Sector
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team, supporting clients in the automotive and insurance sectors across the UK.
Location: North West Office (3 days) | UK Field Travel (2 days)

At ECW Search, we represent a fast-growing, solutions-oriented business operating at the intersection of motor claims, insurance, and fleet services. We are looking for a relationship-driven professional to manage a key client portfolio, including large corporates and SMEs, from global insurers to broker networks and claims management companies.
The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will manage, develop, and expand existing accounts, identify upselling opportunities, and foster long-term partnerships through in-person meetings and internal collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a diverse portfolio of strategic accounts in automotive and insurance sectors.
- Build trusted relationships with corporate clients and SME owners.
- Identify opportunities to enhance services and increase revenue.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Create tailored presentations and assist with onboarding new partners.
- Coordinate with operations, finance, and compliance teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Provide market insights, competitor feedback, and pipeline reports to senior management.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven success in account management or relationship sales roles within Credit Hire or similar sectors.
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and SME owners.
- Solid understanding of UK motor claims, credit hire, or insurance industry.
- Excellent communication skills with a commercial mindset.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage a national client portfolio.
- Willing to travel across the UK (approximately 2 days per week).
