We have a fantastic opportunity for someone that craves technical challenges and has an interest in technology, electronics, and a passion for cars to join our Technical Help Team. Our Technical Help Team specialises in diagnosing and repairing non-standard faults found in our Workshop.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the continuous failure mode development of legacy products. Responsibilities include:

  • Following wiring diagrams and pin data to power up ECUs on the bench and test specific circuits and functions.
  • Analysis of ECUs (electronic control units) and their PCBAs (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies) to discover the cause of electronic faults and to enact repairs where possible.
  • Closing looping of information into SOP and training of technicians.

Experience required:

  • Electronic fault finding to component level and PCB rework methods.
  • Electronic schematic/wiring diagram drawings.
  • Knowledge and experience of automotive operations, electronics, and communication protocols.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is desirable.
