Job Title: Warehouse Operative- Day Shift
Location: EH48 2FB
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 12 weeks- Temporary initially opportunity for Permanent
Pay Rate: £12.38 Per hour
Working Hours: 7/8am-4pm (35-40 hours per week)
5 days over 7 on a set rota
Job And Finish- Flexibility Is Required
Join a fast-paced distribution centre as a Warehouse Operative, previous experience using large material handling equipment is required!
Main Duties

• Operate various types of large material handling equipment.
• Transport materials to designated storage areas and production lines.
• Always Follow Health & Safety and company policies.
• Picking and packing supermarket orders efficiently
• Operate barcode scanners or handheld devices to track inventory.
• Handling heavy lifting as part of the job
• Working as part of a supportive team
  

Key Skills

• Previous experience using large material handling equipment.
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Being able to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and keep track of orders
• Efficiently managing time ensures that tasks are completed promptly.
• Reliable and able to work the rotating shift pattern
• Good attention to detail
• Previous warehouse experience
